Kevin has a degree in Iwi Environmental Management and has previously worked for both the Ruapehu District Council and Thames-Coromandel District Council. With over nine years’ experience working in local government, Kevin has extensive knowledge of the resource consent process, having managed resource consent applications and overseeing the renewal of second generation district plans. Key areas of responsibility include monitoring of resource consent matters relevant to the Waikato River.
Richard oversees the tribe’s First Right of Refusal process – a provision from our 1995 ‘Raupatu Land Claim’, and he also assists with land research and information requests to support claim and property priorities. Richard previously worked for the Department of Conservation and the NZ Forest Service. He has a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours), and a NZ Certificate in Draughting (Survey).
